Words matter
Words matter. Ask. Believe. Receive. Learn to master the art of asking and do it with meaning. This is your own wish. Your own vision. Your own thought. I am not here to sell you my words but to inspire you to create your own. THINK Votives are meant to challenge you to THINK about what it is that you really want.
Writing something out programs it into your mind. The subconscious mind is a huge memory bank. Its job is to store and recall data. It permanently stores everything that happens to us and will work to make sure that we act in such a way that is consistent with what we believe. Program yourself to become what you THINK about and to have what you believe in. Opportunities and synchronicities will start to make themselves known. What you think about creates and holds value. Only a vision that has an emotional, fiery push behind it can manifest. It needs to be passionate and spirited. Know your destination and the reasons why you want what you do. Reasons add power. The WHY needs to be strong. You need not worry about the HOW. When you light this votive, feel the passion and always remember to be grateful.
how thINK VOTIVES came to be
When I was a young child, my parents would often warn me, "Be careful what you wish for, it may just come true." This warning soon became a routine response to my poor behavior and as a result, I came to believe that negative thoughts and bad decisions were the driving force behind any difficulties that may surface in life. I was often reminded that if I did not begin to change my thoughts, my life would never begin to change. In time, I would eventually realize the powerful impact that my thoughts and words would have in shaping how I chose to show up in the world. My parents had impressed upon me that negative thoughts have negative outcomes. Knowing this to be true, then one must believe the opposite to be true. Positive thoughts must have positive outcomes. It was through this remembrance that my vision of Think Votives created its own space in a big corner of my world.
I classify myself as a lifelong learner; always reading, always writing, always thinking. I remember reading about a phenomenon called the "Generation Effect." While not fully understood, this phenomenon suggests that any information that is generated from within oneself is much easier to remember and therefore more powerful than information we receive through other means, such as listening or reading.
Let me share my own personal experience. I was gifted a Law of Attraction candle with the label "Smells like Success." I loved this idea as I had been actively seeking success in so many different areas of my life. However, at some point it occurred to me that this particular candle, with this particular label, was actually created by someone else. While it occupied its own space on the mantle in my living room, it originally belonged to the person who created the label. Why? Because the words on the label carried the creators own unique thought frequency and energetic vibration.
What defines success is different for us all. It may mean occupying the corner office in the executive suite on the top floor. It may mean having a career that affords you the luxury of world travel. It may mean reaching financial independence or starting a business. Whatever it means, let it hold meaning for you, not for anyone else. Otherwise, you become trapped in a life which belongs to someone else.
Think Votives is a purpose driven candle company. I wanted to offer you a tool that would help you align your internal energy with the unique energy of your specific thoughts and desires. I am here to encourage you to shape your own experiences and to influence your own outcomes. I don’t want to offer you my label, I want you to create your own. Write your own story. If you don’t, someone else will write it for you.
Our thoughts create either a positive or a negative charge and the energy that we project into the world is the same energy that will return back to us, often in greater quantities than expected. The universe wants to match your vibration. Decide what it is that you want to have, or who it is that you want to be, and simply become it. It is through this becoming that we will attract those very qualities back to ourselves. It's like a boomerang. A boomerang is designed to return to you when its thrown out. Life is just one big boomerang.
We have been given the power to choose the way we want to live our lives and this is exactly what the universe is asking of us. Take charge. Send out your own signals. Your life is a beautiful mosaic, a mix and match of beautiful colors and patterns. Re-arrange the pieces. Appreciate the rough edges. Be the artist as well as the finished product and you will create for yourself a life unlike any other…
Create your own message. Record it. Manifest it. Be careful what you wish for, it may just become your reality.
